Digital business cards for law firms
Partner and associate cards that carry the firm's name, not a vendor's — and never make the person who received one create an account.
A managing partner is rolling out cards for the whole practice: eight partners, a dozen associates, two paralegals who work the intake desk. Every card needs to look like it belongs to the firm, resolve at the firm's own web address, and — this is the part that keeps getting vetoed — it cannot ask the client, the opposing counsel, or the judge's clerk to sign up for anything to save a phone number. BeamHello issues those cards under one flat firm subscription and leaves the recipient completely alone.
Why the recipient side matters more at a firm
A lawyer hands a card to a client at the worst moment of that client's year, or to opposing counsel across a conference table, or to a clerk in a courthouse hallway. The last thing any of those people should hit is a screen demanding they register before they can save a contact. BeamHello's card opens, shows the lawyer's details, and offers to save the contact. There is no account gate, no download prompt, no "create your own card to continue." That absence is the entire point — a firm can adopt it without a single awkward exchange getting in the way.
- Recipient opens the card and saves the contact — no signup prompt, ever.
- Cards resolve at a branded URL you control, not a generic vendor link.
- Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from any card.
- Paid orgs show the firm's own logo on the Wallet pass.
- Cards are noindex by default; opt an individual card in per-card if wanted.
Every card carries the firm, not the vendor
White-label is not cosmetic for a law practice — it is the difference between a professional impression and a free-tool impression. On a branded org, the card page, the branded web address, and the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes all show the firm's own logo. Nothing on the surface a client sees says BeamHello. Set a custom domain or subdomain and white-label the support email so the whole experience reads as the firm's, from the URL down to the reply address.
One firm subscription, not a license per lawyer
BeamHello bills per organization, not per seat. The Team plan is one org with up to 10 cards for a flat 24 dollars a month — enough for a boutique firm's partners and key associates on a single line item. Tools built around lead-capture funnels — Popl, HiHello, Blinq — charge for every person you add, which at ten cards lands well above a flat firm rate. A firm administrator is buying a subscription, not negotiating headcount.
Structuring a multi-office or multi-practice firm
Sub-organizations let a larger firm keep offices or practice groups as their own units under the firm umbrella — litigation, estate planning, and the downtown office each as a distinct sub-org — while administration stays central. Each card still writes to any blank NFC tag, so a partner can tap a card onto a physical piece of stock and hand it over, or send the branded link and QR by email.
What lands in the firm's contact records
The beam-yours-back exchange (Team and up) is a two-way handoff the card owner pulls on their side — it never blocks or nags the person across the table. When a contact beams theirs back, that record upserts into HubSpot as a Contact; on the Agency plan a timeline event is added to that contact so business-development follow-up has a trail. Each lawyer also gets a per-card email signature block and a Contact QR that saves the contact without even opening the page.
FAQ
Does a client or opposing counsel have to create an account to save the card?
No. There is no signup prompt at any point. The card opens, shows the lawyer's contact details, and offers to save them directly. The recipient never registers, downloads an app, or makes their own card.
Will the cards show our firm's branding instead of BeamHello's?
Yes, on a paid branded org. The card page, the branded URL, and the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes all carry your firm's own logo. You can also set a custom domain or subdomain and white-label the support email.
How does pricing work for a whole firm rather than per lawyer?
Billing is per organization, not per seat. The Team plan is one org with up to 10 cards for a flat 24 dollars a month. Adding a partner or associate within that limit does not raise the price the way per-seat tools do.
Do exchanged contacts reach our CRM?
Yes, on Team and up. When someone beams their contact back, it upserts into HubSpot as a Contact. On the Agency plan a timeline event is also added to that contact, giving business development a record of the exchange.
