Attorney business cards in Apple and Google Wallet

A card that already lives in your phone, so you share it without opening an app or handing over paper.

You are across the table in a conference room, the introductions are moving fast, and someone asks for your card. Instead of digging through a jacket pocket, you pull up the pass you already keep in Apple Wallet, let the other side tap or scan it, and their phone offers to save you as a contact. No app to download on their end, no lead form, no prompt asking anyone to sign up. The pass carries your firm's logo, not a vendor's, and the same card is ready in Google Wallet for the associate sitting next to you on Android.

Why wallet passes fit the way attorneys actually meet

Meetings for a lawyer are back-to-back and often adversarial. You do not want to fumble, and you do not want the person across from you to feel funneled into a marketing tool. A BeamHello card generates both an Apple Wallet and a Google Wallet pass from the same branded URL, so the card is one swipe away on the lock screen the moment someone asks for it. There is nothing to launch and nothing to hunt for.

When the other person saves you, their phone writes a normal contact from your vCard. They are never shown a signup prompt — not once, ever. For a profession where discretion matters, that absence is the point.

  • Add to Wallet from any card, on both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
  • Paid orgs show the firm's own logo on the pass, not BeamHello's.
  • The recipient saves your contact with no account and no nag screen.
  • Cards live at beamhello.com/{firm}/{attorney} and write to any blank NFC tag.

Setting up the pass for a partner or associate

Build the card once

Each attorney gets a card at your firm's branded URL. Fill in name, title, bar-relevant contact details, and the firm logo. The card renders the Add to Wallet buttons automatically, alongside a vCard download, a QR code, and a Contact QR that saves your details without even opening the page.

Put the firm's mark on the pass

On a paid, branded org the wallet pass carries your firm's logo. A managing partner handing out a card in a deposition or a client pitch is presenting the practice, not advertising the tool that made it. On Agency plans you can also run the whole thing on a custom domain with white-label support email.

Keep it in your own pocket too

Add your own pass to your wallet so it is ready before the meeting starts. Tap it against a blank NFC tag on a desk placard, or let it surface as a QR on screen during a video call — the same card works across all three.

What happens after the handshake

With beam-yours-back on Team plans and up, the exchange goes two ways: the person you met can send their details back, and you pull them in on your side. It is owner-pull-only, so it never blocks or nags the recipient — it just gives you a clean way to capture who you met without asking them to do paperwork.

At Team and above, contacts who beam back upsert straight into HubSpot as Contacts. On Agency, each of those contacts also gets a timeline event, so business development at the firm can see the relationship take shape without anyone re-typing a name.

What it costs a firm

BeamHello prices per org, flat, not per attorney. Team is one org with up to ten cards for $24 a month. A firm equipping ten partners and associates pays that one figure. Per-seat tools in the same category — Popl, HiHello, Blinq — bill each person, which at ten seats commonly lands somewhere around $40 to $70 a month. Larger practices can use sub-orgs to keep each office or practice group organized under one account.

  • Team: one org, up to 10 cards, $24/mo flat — not per seat.
  • Sub-orgs let a firm separate offices or practice groups cleanly.
  • HubSpot contact sync is included from Team; timeline events at Agency.

FAQ

Does the other person need an app to save my card in a meeting?

No. When they tap or scan your wallet pass, their phone reads the vCard and offers to save you as a normal contact. There is no app to install and no signup prompt at any point.

Will the wallet pass show my firm's branding or BeamHello's?

On a paid, branded org the Apple and Google Wallet passes carry your firm's own logo, not BeamHello's. The card presents your practice, not the tool behind it.

How does this cost less than giving every attorney a Popl or HiHello seat?

BeamHello charges one flat fee per org rather than per person. Team is up to 10 cards for $24 a month, while per-seat tools bill each attorney and typically run $40 to $70 a month at ten seats.

Do the people I meet end up in our CRM?

Yes, on Team plans and up. When a contact beams their details back, they upsert into HubSpot as a Contact, and on Agency each one also gets a timeline event on that contact.
